Our toothpaste has been formulated using only natural ingredients to clean and promote the health of the teeth and mouth. Furthermore, all our ingredients are non-toxic so you wont find any warnings against swallowing the toothpaste. In fact, every ingredient is actually beneficial to our body if ingested (although we do not recommend eating the toothpaste).

  Also known as Bicarbonate of Soda, Baking Soda and Bi-Carb.

  Sodium Bicarbonate has many health and other uses. It is a raising agent for cooking, a great cleaning agent, can be used to treat sunburn, stomach aches to name but a few.

  We use Sodium Bicarbonate in our toothpaste formula to help whiten the teeth. It also alkalises the mouth to neutralise the acids produced by some of the bacteria in the mouth and therefore helps to fight decay and cavities. Sodium Bicarbonate discourages the formation of plaque and gum disease and can help speed the healing process associated with mouth ulcers and other conditions.

• Diatomaceous Earth
  Diatomaceous Earth

  

  Diatomaceous Earth is mainly silica and is formed by the sediment of fossilised algae at the bottom of the oceans and other bodies of water.

  It has many industrial and health uses including water purification, paint making and a food filler. It is a good product to use in the garden to keep pests away and to nourish the soil and plants. For our health it can be very beneficial for our skin, nails, teeth, bones, and hair; and it can treat constipation and be used in a general detox.

  We use Diatomaceous Earth in our toothpaste to clean and polish the teeth, kill bacteria and promote overall mouth health.

• Colloidal Silver
  Colloidal Silver

  

  Colloidal Silver is silver nano-particals suspended within pure water usually at a concentration of around 40 ppm (parts per million).

  Colloidal Silver is a great antiseptic for treating bacteria, fungal and viral infections. It is good for treating wounds and various skin conditions. Some people ingest Colloidal Silver and report great benefits but the risks of doing so are not clear so we do not recommend ingesting.

  We use Colloidal Silver in our toothpaste as an antibacterial and antiseptic.

  In nature, bentonite clay is the clay component of soil that contains minerals needed to feed plants.

  Bentonite clay is used in our toothpaste formulas and provides our teeth with all the minerals our teeth need to be strong and healthy. We have also heard reports that bentonite clay can even heal tooth problems.

  Bentonite clay can also be used as an anti-fungal treatment either alone or as part of an MMS protocol.

  Essential Oils are natural extracts from plants. They have many uses including aromatherapy, massage, adding flavour and smell.

  Clove Oil

  Clove Oil is an antimicrobial and can be used to treat digestive and respiratory issues. We use Clove Oil in our sensitive toothpaste to relieve pain and sensitivity of the teeth.

  Spearmint Oil

  Spearmint Oil can be used to soothe ailments such as skin problems, headaches, nausea, vomiting, respiratory issues, and cold symptoms. We use Spearmint Oil in our toothpaste to add smell, flavour and freshen the breath.

Our Everyday toothpaste contains Spearmint Oil to add smell, flavour and freshen the breath.
Our Sensitive toothpaste contains Clove Oil to help sooth sensitivity and pain.

What's it like

We do not add additional flavourings or sweeteners to our toothpaste so it does have a fairly strong salty flavour and a slightly gritty texture. The consistency should be smooth and paste-like but, if left open to the air, it may start to dry out a little. In this case just add a drop or two of pure water to achieve the smooth paste texture.

Suitable for all types of brush.

Directions

Take a pea sized amount onto your brush and brush teeth and gums as usual. When finished rince away ad clean the brush with plenty of water.
